1. What RateMyDOT is

RateMyDOT is an independent private platform that reorganizes public FMCSA motor-carrier records and, when publication opens, hosts driver reports and carrier responses. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for FMCSA or the U.S. Department of Transportation.

2. Informational use only

Carrier pages, Health Scores, reports, and responses are informational. They are not legal, financial, employment, safety, insurance, or compliance advice; not an FMCSA safety rating; and not a guarantee about a carrier’s current authority, conduct, or future performance. Verify current authority on FMCSA SAFER before relying on it.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials and one-time capability tokens secure, and notify us of suspected unauthorized account use. You may not impersonate another person, claim a carrier without authority, probe another user’s account, bypass access controls, or use the platform to identify a report’s author.

4. Reports, responses, and disputes

You are responsible for content you submit and must have a good-faith factual basis for it. You grant HahaTech LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, publish, and preserve that content for operating RateMyDOT.

RateMyDOT may delay, hold, annotate, restrict, or remove content under its publication, anonymity, moderation, and legal rules. A notice that a published report was withdrawn or removed may remain visible.

5. Prohibited uses

• Do not use RateMyDOT to screen, rank, investigate, or make employment decisions about drivers.
• Do not attempt reidentification, correlate publication timing with a person, or solicit identifying details about a contributor.
• Do not scrape at a rate that impairs service, defeat technical limits, inject malicious code, or test security without written authorization.
• Do not present RateMyDOT data or branding as an official government record or endorsement.

6. Fees, payments, and the guarantee

RateMyDOT currently charges no fees and collects no payment-card information. No carrier can pay to change its Health Score, hide its public FMCSA record, or receive preferential treatment in a dispute. If a paid product is introduced later, its specific price and payment terms will be disclosed before any charge.

7. Intellectual property

Federal source records remain subject to their source terms. RateMyDOT’s original design, software, explanatory text, organization, and branding belong to HahaTech LLC or its licensors. These terms do not grant a right to copy the site wholesale, misuse the mark, or resell the service.

8. Availability and changes

The platform is ordinarily available online 24/7, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. We may maintain, secure, change, suspend, or discontinue features. Material term changes will receive a new version and effective date; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RateMyDOT is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted operation. HahaTech LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform.

10. Governing law and contact
